Garden Cottage Kilmany

Garden Cottage is a great value, single storey, very dog friendly holiday cottage nestled by the A92, at the "Wester" entrance to the pretty village of Kilmany, East Fife. Kilmany is just a 20-minute drive from the ancient University town of St Andrews, 30 minutes from the coastal towns of the East Neuk and 10 minutes from Cupar and Dundee. As a result, it is within easy reach of a broad range of shops and amenities, including pubs, restaurants, cafes, cinemas and theatres; a regional bus service and a train station with local and national links.

Garden Cottage has an en-suite bedroom with a double bed; there are click-clack chair beds in the sitting room, along with a three-seater sofa, dining table and chairs. There’s a large flatscreen TV with FreeSat and Wi-Fi. The central heating is oil-fired and there’s an electric stove style heater/cooler in the sitting room. Whatever their size, dogs are welcome, free of charge, their number can be negotiated.

The garden is enclosed by a standard stock fence (there’s unused farm land immediately in front of the cottage). We have added hex wire to the standard wire, and have boarded along the bottom of the stock fence to reinforce its security. We have also installed a farm gate, reinforcing that with wire. While we’ve done our utmost to ensure that the garden is secure, we ask that guests please keep your eyes on your dog(s) when in the garden as we can’t guarantee that it’s 100% escape proof. We ask guests to clean up after their pets as necessary and we’ve provided bags for that purpose.
